Just like the threats I shout to my kids, my promise to delete comments containing emoticons and/or texting shortcuts is empty. I admit, when used sparingly and appropriately, they are fine. But excessive use of them is just annoying.
So feel free to put an occasional LOL or a :) on here. But just like martinis, anything above two is too many.
